Margaret A. Wharton, Esq.

Margaret A. Wharton was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980. Shortly after she was admitted to the Bar, Margaret and her family moved to Oviedo where she opened up her law firm as a solo practice. Although she now practices along side two of her daughters, her office remains in the same location in downtown Oviedo.

 

She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Margaret was a member of the law review.

 

Margaret is authorized to practice in all Florida State Courts , as well as the United States Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Margaret had the honor of serving as the Vice Chair of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee 18A, for which she was awarded a plaque for her dedicated service to the law profession. Margaret also was a volunteer attorney for the Florida Attorneys Saving Homes program. 

Margaret is a member of the Volie A. Williams, Jr. Inns of Court, the Seminole County Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association.

A native Floridian, Margaret loves the water. When not working, she can be found enjoying the St. Johns River on her back porch or the waves in the Atlantic in New Smyrna Beach.
